Finally Tried Out Jamie Oliver’s Singapore Restaurant

Decided that since I spend so much time attached to my phone I might as well use it to blog. Think with the new WordPress app it’s becoming easier to do this.

Finally tried out Jamie Oliver’s Restaurant at Vivocity. Our verdict is fresh and healthy, but expensive for casual dining.

I must say the wait staff we had tried very hard but her lines seemed to be memorised. We did very much appreciate the effort though.

It was nice that they didn’t squeeze us between people and were generous with the seating. The interior is lovely and cosy with a view of the waters leading to Sentosa.

The bill came to S$92 which is expensive as we both felt that although the ingredients were very fresh we still preferred the handmade pasta at Pasta Fresca so we’ll be returning there for our pasta cravings.

I thought the raspberry panna cotta was lovely but B said he’s had better. But I’m still glad we got to try out the place even if it’s just only once.

I did like the tomato bruschetta but didn’t quite enjoy the chocolate dessert as I don’t like mousse like textures very much. I must add that we both came with very high expectations after seeing queues here on 3 other occasions and eagerly awaiting for the euphoria to die down so we could finally try it out. We’re also fans of Jamie Oliver and trust that it’s just teething problems.

Here are the photos as pictures always illustrate best.
