This is definitely my favourite kosong prata (plain prata) – fluffy on the outside and with a dense chewiness on the inside. Tried it twice now, but the first time I was so greedy, I forgot to take photos. I did try the coin prata that first time, but I found it too crispy and prefer just the regular plain one.
The fish curry was so rich, tangy and spicy, the way I like it. Costs just $1 for a plain prata. So satisfying with the curry, or with a bit of sugar. My ultimate comfort food.
In terms of ambience though, I prefer Mr and Mrs Moghan’s prata at the Crane Road coffeeshop. The people are both places are very friendly, so at least folks living in the central area of Singapore and East can rejoice having quality prata nearby.
